Cafbyte is a founder-led web development studio based in India. This policy describes how this website handles the information you share.

What we collect

When you send a project enquiry, we collect your name, email, optional business and website details, service interest, approximate budget and currency, timeline, project description and referral source. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or passwords.

Why we use it

We use these details to review your request, respond, prepare a proposal and keep track of our conversations. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Spam prevention

We use a hidden form field, a short-lived signed form token and submission limits. On Netlify, a keyed hash of your connection IP address is stored for rate limiting; the raw IP is not saved in the enquiry database. Enquiry timestamps and email addresses are also used to limit repeated submissions.

Where data is processed

The site is hosted on Netlify and uses Supabase for database storage, administrator authentication and portfolio images. These providers process information to operate the website. Data may be processed outside your country depending on hosting and database regions. We do not sell enquiry information.

Cookies and analytics

The public site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential authentication cookies are used when the administrator signs in. Our hosting and database providers may maintain operational security logs.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry records are kept while evaluating or working on your project and for reasonable follow-up. The studio periodically reviews records and removes those no longer needed. You may ask to access, correct or delete your information; some records may need to be kept to meet contractual or legal obligations.
